Hi Welcome to the Lindfield Childcare setting of Norto5 KIDZ.

Staff

Firstly let me introduce myself.. My name is Kim and I am responsible for running the Lindfield setting- in addition to having the overall operational responsibility for the two settings. You can see me below, together with my team outside the Lindfield setting. We are from left to right, Anna, Pat, myself, Isabella and Sarah. We are a happy team of girls, all qualified childcare professionals except Anna who is studying at present to get her NVQ qualification. We encourage further training and I, together with Tracey who runs the Cuckfield setting, am studying for the more advanced qualification NVQ4.

Location

The Lindfield setting is situated in the middle of the large sports grounds in Hickmans Lane Lindfield so the children are able to run (under supervision of course) to their hearts content without being even close to danger.

Inside the school we have a single large room with moveable partitions so we can construct the room as we need. We care for the babies as well as the older children in this large room. We believe that by having the babies in the same environment as the older children, not only do siblings gain comfort from each other‘s presence but the babies achieve a greater level of stimulation from being in the presence of the older children rather than alone with only the other babies. External Assessment

By law we are required to be assessed by Ofsted - the Government Agency tasked with making sure that the childcare and pre-school facilities are providing a good service to your child. We were recently assessed as having a ‘good‘ rating which is the second best rating that is given to approximately 3% of schools.
